A Milestone Worth Celebrating
By God’s grace, and through the prayers and generosity of our members and well-wishers, the Melbourne CSI Church has now purchased an investment residential property. This is a significant step forward in our long-held vision of securing a permanent home for our church family. Our focus now turns to paying off the mortgage on this property as quickly as possible — and we invite you to be part of that journey.
About Our Church
The Melbourne CSI Church currently worships at St Matthews Anglican Church, Ashburton, under a Memorandum of Understanding signed between our Church, St Matthews Church, and the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.
Our congregation continues to grow steadily:
- An average of 100 believers now attend our regular Sunday worship service
- Around 65 children attend our Sunday School classes each week
As we grow, the need for a place of our own — a permanent home for worship, for our Sunday School, and for the wider life of our church community — becomes ever more pressing.
Why This Property Matters
The investment property we have purchased is a foundation stone for our future. In time, it may serve as:
- A Parsonage — a residence for our church’s minister
- A financial asset — which can be leveraged or sold to form the base fund for purchasing land, or an established property, as our permanent place of worship
Every payment made toward the mortgage strengthens this asset and brings us closer to the day we can dedicate a church building of our own.
